QMS proudly supports Variety: The Children’s Charity

QMS Certification Services has grown significantly in recent years and your efforts, which are greatly appreciated, have contributed to this growth.

Since 2015 QMS has supported Variety – The Children’s Charity, whose key role is to help sick and disadvantaged kids and their families.

One of Variety’s major fundraising events is the iconic Variety Bash, Australia’s largest and longest-running charity motoring event. Teams enter vehicles at least 30-year old and travel through the Australian countryside, visiting local schools each day and making significant donations to each school to assist in providing much-needed equipment and resources.

The Variety Bash gives back to local communities that welcome and accommodate them along the way. These funds allow local businesses to not only survive but thrive.

In the year leading up to the recently completed 2021 Bash, 105 teams raised a whopping $1.2 million – all for the benefit of the kids.

QMS's 3 Amigos car

Our Director and CFO, John McDean, will participate in this event for the 7th year in 2022 and nowadays enters a 1990 Mercedes with the theme of “The 3 Amigos”. The team has set a fundraising goal for the next bash in May 2022 of $20,000 and QMS has kicked things off with a sizable donation.

It would be great if you could consider helping the team reach this goal while helping sick and disadvantaged kids. You can do this by making a tax-deductible donation directly to Variety via the team’s Car Account by clicking here.

Please be assured that any donation made via this link goes directly to Variety and the amount is simply shown on the team’s Car Account as part of their fundraising goal.

Your donation will be greatly appreciated to assist Variety in creating a lasting impact around Australia and a better life for kids.
